Civilization VII will introduce the endless mode this month
You can mark April 22 in your calendar if you are one of those players who always find yourself wishing for an extra turn before the game ends in Civilization VII. Winning the game is the final goal in Civilization VII, no matter what type of victory you achieve. However, after all the effort put during countless turns into making your nation the greatest of them all, sometimes you feel curious about how your projects will fare a few years after you reach your final goal. The addition of the endless mode called One More Turn will let you keep playing your campaign past the end of the Modern Age. This mode will be implemented in a new patch that will be released on April 22, but it's just the tip of the iceberg.
Patch 1.2.0
In addition to the new endless mode, patch 1.2.0 will bring interesting novelties to Civilization VII. The patch will also introduce the Teams Multiplayer functionality, which allows players to share map visibility, relationships, and victory with their allies for a more engaging cooperative experience. Also, the patch will add ten new resources, each of them tied to a narrative event, and significant changes to the resource generation system. With improvements to population growth, research queues, and a reduction in the frequency of natural disasters, the patch will greatly contribute to making gameplay more enjoyable. All these changes will be listed in the official patch notes, which will be available ahead of the release date.
Civilization VII offers a new type of experience that has brought many changes to the franchise. Many fans are reticent to accept those changes, and the UI of the new game does not help to convince them to abandon Civilization VI. However, Firaxis Games is committed to improving Civilization VII and we will see more patches coming in the future, Hopefully, these will arrive soon enough to avoid damaging the future of the iconic Sid Meier's Civilization series which is a pillar of the strategy genre. As usual, our comparator can help you to get a cheap copy of the game by providing you with easy access to Civilization VII at the best price if you want to discover what the latest installment in the series has to offer.
