ANOMALITH Is Out Now: Survival Horror Shooter on PS5, Switch 2 and PC

FURYU CORPORATION has officially launched ANOMALITH, its first survival horror shooter. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. It has arrived after achieving over 130,000 Steam wishlists, which is a good indication of the anticipation it has generated ahead of release. As a bonus, it's available with a 10% launch discount right now. The game is set in an alternative version of Japan where reality itself is coming apart.

A story that starts ten years late

In ANOMALITH, you take the role of Reona Minazuki, a researcher who wakes up after a ten-year slumber inside an anomaly known as the Sarcophagus. The world outside has changed significantly, and it is now riddled with "Otherworlds" — spatial rifts that governments have failed to contain. Reona has gained a strange sensitivity to these distortions, and she'll need it: her friend has gone missing, and every lead points deeper into the anomalies.

The setting is drenched in liminal-space dread and Showa-era retro aesthetics: apartment complexes where gravity flips mid-corridor, shopping streets that stretch into infinity, and dark hallways that seem alive. Developed together with Winning Entertainment Group (formerly Natsume Atari), the game is a sharp departure for FuRyu — but producer Gai Kidokoro promises the studio's signature character-driven storytelling and evocative music are very much present. Twelve abilities, one loaded arsenal

Combat is fast, but survival is tactical. You'll manage scarce resources across each excursion while mastering twelve supernatural abilities that can turn a fight on its head. Both your firearms and your outfit can be customized with functional upgrades that change your attributes mid-run, so every trip into an anomaly zone plays differently.

Editions and launch discount

On Steam, the Standard Edition is currently 10% off until November 11, 2026. The Digital Deluxe Edition is more expensive but it comes with an 80-page digital artbook, a selection of music tracks and the "Anomaly Zone Countermeasures" DLC.

To mark the launch, character designer MON — known for blending human forms with dark fantasy — shared a commemorative illustration on the game's official X account and Steam page.

ANOMALITH sits at 68% positive across 133 Steam reviews as of October 30, 2026. This is a respectable start for a genre experiment, and the game has been praised for its atmosphere and combat. Also, the usual launch-week fixes are already flowing in, so the gameplay experience is solid enough.
