    Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure from the creators of Black Desert Online. The game narrates the story of a group of mercenaries that struggle to survive in a world torn apart by war. You will play as Macduff, son of Martinus, the leader of a group of hardened mercenaries. Pywel is a vast continent divided into several regions. The King of Demeniss, Unifier of Lands, lies in a coma and the power vacuum has led to the rebellion of those that suffered under his rule. Everyone is trying to take advantage of the situation and there are plenty of opportunities to gain power if you are smart and strong enough. But the journey is dangerous, and you will need to find friends that will support you in your endeavors and gain their trust if you want to survive in this world.

    The game is truly amazing. Having so many mechanics can cause issues from time to time, but I think that’s perfectly normal for a game like this. With its massive map, long-lasting gameplay, stunning graphics, and excellent combat feel, I believe it will be a strong contender among this year's GOTY nominees.

    Franchement, il y'a tellement à faire dan ce jeu, c'est un tueur de temps. Mais un tueur de temps qui semble ne pas être relou à jouer. Le but d'un jeu est de divertir, d'amuser, et ce jeu fait clairement le taf. Les gens sont durs et je suis convaincu que ce jeu fait partie de ces jeux qui vont changer l'industrie vers un mieux. j'espère en tout cas.

    Crimson Desert will undoubtedly be a divisive title, especially given the amount of attention it received in the months leading up to its launch. On the one hand, there will be those who appreciate the gameplay variety and impressive amount of content, while recognizing that it isn't a perfect title. On the other, there will be those who see this "bulimia" of ideas as a limitation, preferring a more focused and refined experience. They might find both the combat system and progression within such a vast world challenging. One thing remains clear, however: Pearl Abyss's title is destined to be one of the most discussed games of the first half of 2026, and likely also one of the most played.

    first of all, the controls are terrible and the game doesnt allow you to rebind 2nd, the game starts waaaay too slow for around 5+ hours. i wanna say every1 who has dropped the game dropped it in those ~5 hours. i have seen these 5 hours from streamers and i can confirm its boring af. i havent seen anything after that so i dont have a opinion, but people seem to like it. 70 bucks (steam) = bad the game is literally like the OG fable. i would say if u like fable, get this1 and bruteforce through these first hours

    Lo que más valoro de Crimson Desert es el equilibrio entre acción y narrativa. No es solo un sandbox vacío: las misiones tienen sentido y los personajes con los que te encuentras enriquecen la historia. Me gusta cómo cada zona del mapa tiene su propia ambientación y retos, lo que hace que avanzar hacia nuevas regiones siempre sea emocionante y merezca la pena.
    What I value most about Crimson Desert is the balance between action and narrative. It's not just an empty sandbox: the missions make sense and the characters you encounter enrich the story. I like how each area of the map has its own setting and challenges, which makes moving on to new regions always exciting and worthwhile.

    Ce que j’ai aimé dans Crimson Desert, c’est cette impression de liberté constante. Le jeu ne m’a jamais vraiment forcé à suivre un chemin précis. J’ai pu explorer, expérimenter différentes armes, essayer différentes compétences. Cette liberté est précieuse, surtout dans un genre souvent très dirigiste. Cependant, elle a aussi ses limites. À force de laisser trop de possibilités, le jeu peut sembler désorganisé. On ne sait pas toujours quoi faire ni pourquoi. Malgré cela, j’ai apprécié cette approche. Elle donne une vraie sensation d’aventure, même si elle manque parfois de structure
    What I loved about Crimson Desert was its constant sense of freedom. The game never really forced me to follow a specific path. I was able to explore, experiment with different weapons, try out different skills. This freedom is precious, especially in a genre that's often very dirigiste. However, it also has its limits. By leaving too many possibilities open, the game can seem disorganized. You don't always know what to do or why. Despite this, I appreciated the approach. It gives a real sense of adventure, even if it sometimes lacks structure.
