Pearl Abyss continues to support Crimson Desert with patch 1.13.00
Crimson Desert has not been sitting quietly in the corner gathering digital dust. Pearl Abyss has been rolling out constant updates, fixes, and improvements, showing that the studio is clearly paying attention to the game after launch. That matters a lot, because big open-world adventures live or die by how well they are supported once players start breaking things, finding weird bugs, and asking for more reasons to jump back in.
Patch 1.13.00 makes Crimson Desert feel bigger and smoother
The latest big step is Patch 1.13.00, and it brings some pretty important changes. The headline update is that Oongka and Damiane can now enter the Abyss, giving players more freedom to use different characters in one of the game’s key activities. That is not just a small menu tweak. It makes the game feel more flexible, gives fans of those characters more to do, and helps Crimson Desert move away from feeling too focused on only one main playstyle.
Because of this change, Pearl Abyss also adjusted the locations of Memory Fragments for several rematchable bosses, including Corrupted Caliburn, Goyen, Draven the Crowcaller, and Clockwork White Horn. In simple gamer terms: the patch does not just open the door and walk away. It also cleans up the room so the new character access actually works properly.
Gear lovers also get a feast. Kliff and Oongka received a large batch of new equipment pieces, while Damiane also got new armor options. More outfits, more boss gear, more customization, more reasons to stare at your character for ten minutes before actually playing the game. We have all done it. No shame.
There are also some lovely quality-of-life additions. Pets can now rest with your character when sleeping in a bed, which is both adorable and dangerously powerful for anyone weak to cozy game details. A new option lets players hide the minimap and status UI for a cleaner screen, while the Hunter’s Sigil gives bird pets more useful gathering abilities.
Patch 1.13.00 is not just about adding shiny stuff. It shows that Crimson Desert is being actively cared for, with Pearl Abyss improving characters, systems, gear, customization, and everyday gameplay comfort. The adventure is getting smoother, bigger, and more player-friendly.
