Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak schedules digital event for March 15

With Monster Hunter Rise's first major expansion scheduled to be released in Q3 2022, Capcom has been teasing fans of the franchise. The publisher had already revealed that more information about Sunbreak would emerge earlier this year. To the joy of many, it has announced a new digital event scheduled for next week, March 15th. Many players are eagerly awaiting details on the latest content the expansion will bring. Thankfully, the company has given a taste of what to expect.

Basically, we will have a YouTube premiere format video bringing news about the latest Monster Hunter expansion.

In the teaser description for the event, the developer says that the digital event video will be 20 minutes long, featuring gameplay information and exciting reveals of new monsters. It's possible, however, that in addition to introducing players to the new creatures, more powerful variants of the various pre-existing beasts may appear.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

The Sunbreak expansion was announced for Monster Hunter Rise in September of last year. The DLC will work quite similarly to Iceborne in Monster Hunter World. Players will visit a brand new region - Elgado - and settle into an entirely new base. One of the most exciting points brought by the expansion is the Master Rank, which offers more gameplay options such as new quests and locations, as well as the opportunity to revisit the base game for new armor and weapons.

The presentation of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will take place on March 15th on Capcom Asia's official YouTube page. The event will start at 14:00 GMT / 7:00 PDT.
