The Sims 4: Free Update Celebrates Hispanic Culture

As it regularly happens, a new live broadcast took place yesterday in which some new features coming to The Sims 4 were announced. The last roadmap they presented last spring featured 3 new packs and it ended with the release of Journey to Batuu on September 8.

So what does the Sims 4 team have in store for us? Well, several things have been on the program for a while now, but we'll are getting a free update today. Yesterday's livestream revealed that the game is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which mainly focuses on Latin American cultures. therefore, a free update will be available in The Sims 4 and it will bring some items for Create a Sim, but also some additions for the purchase/construction mode, such as murals, a set of tables, chairs, or a barbecue, as well as a few new cooking recipes.

As for other news, a major update is due by the end of the year and it will add new skin tones, something that has been requested by the players for a very long time. A new expansion should also see the light of day, and we expect an imminent revelation given what the development team said at the beginning of September.

In just a matter of weeks we’ll be sharing more about our next Expansion Pack, which we’ve been working on since last year. I want to set expectations now, though, that cars, babies, farms and bunk beds are not part of this EP. We understand how important these features are to you but we want to be honest that they are not part of this upcoming pack.

At least things are clear now. The possibility of having an expansion pack about hotels, a feature also highly demanded by The Sims 4 players is not excluded. We will have to wait to see what happens.
