The Sims 4 reveals the name and the icon of its new pack

Even if it is a solo game The Sims 4 is still a game with a strong social and community dimension. Although the players cannot directly interact in the game, there are many aspects that connect them. Of course, the main way of doing it is through the gallery, where everyone is free to share their creations, allowing streamers to exchange ideas and to challenge their community. The Sims team also contributes to it by regularly communicating with players through the site news and the social networks, and that fact offers the players an opportunity to let the developers know about their wishes for The Sims 4.

This is precisely what has been offered to The Sims 4 players during the last few months with the creation of a new stuff pack. Through different surveys, players were able to choose what the content of the new pack would be, as had already been done with the Laundry Day stuff pack.

The surveys started in November 2019 and we were able to vote and choose the theme, the composition, the overall artistic style of the pack, the style of the clothes and objects for the purchase/construction mode, and finally, the name and icon of the pack. And precisely, the results of this last vote have just been revealed. The new stuff pack will, therefore, bear the name Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack and its icon will be that of the image above. If you have not followed the results of the votes, this upcoming pack for The Sims 4 will allow our Sims to knit various objects. They will even be able to wear some of them or create decorative objects, all in a style between classic and modern, but very colorful. A new object will also be included, the rocking chair, which should allow for new interactions.

It only remains to know the exact date of the release of the Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack, whose release is already scheduled for the end of this summer. This also gives us more information about  the two other packs that are coming in the following months. If the Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack comes out in late August, the next expansion should arrive in June, and another game pack should be available in October. We will have to wait for an official announcement to know more about what these new packs will bring to The Sims 4 and when.
