Artisan TD is an exciting tower defense game where you have to build mazes to destroy your attackers. Unlike many other titles in the genre, in Artisan TD there is not a set path that the enemies follow to attack your base. Instead of that, you face an empty map where you have to place towers and walls to create a specific path. By positioning these strategically, you can slow down your enemies long enough for your towers to finish them.

Your goal in Artisan TD is to conquer the Chaos Archipelago, a mysterious land formed by small islands. Each of them poses a different challenge that will put to the test your creativity and strategic thinking. Your enemies, magical warriors whose souls have been corrupted by the Titans, will charge unrelentingly. Only by creating complex enough mazes will you be able to stop them before they finish you.

Artisan TD features 30 unique maps and a wide variety of towers and structures that you can unlock as you play.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: What is the primary resource in Artisan TD and how is it generated?
The primary resource is 'Essence,' which is generated passively over time and also by defeating enemies. Its generation rate can be improved through specific upgrades and by strategically placing towers that enhance essence production.; How does the 'Artisan' mechanic work and what is its significance?
The Artisan is a special unit that can be assigned to towers. When assigned, the Artisan actively crafts unique 'enhancements' for that tower, which are temporary but powerful buffs that go beyond standard tower upgrades. This adds a layer of real-time micro-management and strategic decision-making.; What are 'Synergy Cores' and how do they impact tower effectiveness?
Synergy Cores are special items that can be slotted into towers. Each Core provides a unique bonus, and multiple Cores of the same type or specific combinations can unlock powerful synergistic effects, dramatically altering a tower's performance and targeting priorities.; Can towers be modified beyond their initial upgrade paths?
Yes, in addition to standard upgrade paths, towers can be significantly modified through Synergy Cores and by the Artisan's crafted enhancements. This allows for deep customization and specialization of individual towers.; What is the role of 'Farming' in Artisan TD, and how does it differ from other TD games?
Farming in Artisan TD refers to deliberately allowing weaker enemies to pass through your defenses to generate more Essence and experience. This is a high-risk, high-reward strategy that is crucial for affording powerful late-game upgrades and Artisans, as Essence generation is a key bottleneck.; How does the 'Tower Blueprint' system influence gameplay?
Tower Blueprints are rare drops that unlock new tower types or significantly alter existing ones. Collecting and equipping different Blueprints allows players to experiment with vastly different defense strategies and adapt to various enemy types.; What are 'Elemental Affinities' and how do they interact with enemies?
Many towers and enemies possess Elemental Affinities (e.g., Fire, Frost, Arcane). Exploiting elemental weaknesses by matching tower affinities to enemy resistances or vulnerabilities is critical for efficient damage output and crowd control.; How does the game handle enemy waves and progression?
Enemy waves are not just about increasing numbers or health. Artisan TD introduces unique enemy modifiers, special units, and 'Boss' encounters that require specific tower compositions and strategic use of Artisan abilities and Synergy Cores to overcome.; What is the 'Mastery' system, and how does it affect long-term play?
The Mastery system allows players to earn permanent bonuses and unlock new abilities or buffs across multiple playthroughs by achieving certain milestones and challenges within the game. This encourages replayability and strategic mastery of the game's systems.; Can players influence enemy pathing, or is it fixed?
While enemy pathing is generally fixed on a given map, players can indirectly influence it through the strategic placement of certain towers that might slightly alter enemy AI behavior or by using specific Artisan abilities that can temporarily redirect or stun enemies.
