Cyberpunk 2077 hints at a mysterious new crossover event
Cyberpunk 2077 continues to find new ways to keep Night City alive—and relevant. This time, CD Projekt Red has begun teasing an unexpected crossover with Arena Breakout: Infinite, a free-to-play tactical shooter developed by Tencent’s MoreFun Studios. While details remain scarce, a short teaser trailer has already stirred excitement, showing an armored truck racing through a neon-lit city before revealing an operator wearing the signature Samurai jacket—iconic gear tied to protagonist V.
Night City’s Reach Grows with New Crossover
Though the extent of the collaboration hasn’t been disclosed, the crossover could bring themed cosmetics or limited-time events to Arena Breakout: Infinite, much like CDPR’s previous team-ups. It’s a move that seems to benefit both games: Cyberpunk 2077 maintains cultural relevance, while Arena Breakout: Infinite gains visibility through association with a major AAA franchise.
Welcome to Night City, Operators!

This surprise crossover comes at a time when Cyberpunk 2077 is enjoying a second life. After a rocky 2020 launch, the title has undergone a massive transformation through multiple updates and the critically acclaimed Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion. The game’s recent 2.1 patch added even more depth, including AI-driven taxis, new vehicles, and additional side missions.
Even more notably, Cyberpunk 2077 has now fully launched on Mac, giving Apple users access to the complete experience. CDPR has also published full system requirements for the Mac version, ensuring players know exactly what they need to explore Night City at its best. It’s a welcome development that opens the game to an even wider audience—and a sign that CDPR remains committed to long-term support for the title.
While we wait for more details about the Arena Breakout: Infinite crossover, now’s as good a time as any to dive into (or revisit) Night City—especially with new platforms supported and fresh content being added regularly.
