Watch Dogs Legion is coming this fall

In the past months, we have had plenty of information about the upcoming installment in the Watch Dogs series. Ubisoft has let us watch some gameplay and also has released extensive information about some of the features that will be present in Watch Dogs Legion, but there is always room for more, and yesterday we could watch a new video that revealed a few more things about the game. The video was shown during the Ubisoft Forward event yesterday and it gives us an overview of what we can expect to find in Watch Dogs Legion while it explains some of its most important features.

Watch Dogs Legion takes place in a dystopian version of London where private security companies control the city and its citizens. The most innovative feature about the game is that you can recruit virtually any citizen to join DedSec, an organization that fights against the corruption and tyranny of those governing London. Each of the characters in the game has its own story and set of skills, and every one of them can take part in the fight for freedom that takes place in the city. Every time a character controlled by you dies, you move to a different character and try to progress in the game with their help. Of course, their approach to every mission depends on their skills and personalities. As in previous games in the series, technology and hacking are an important part of Watch Dogs Legion and you will have to make use of it in order to gain information and complete your objectives.

Yesterday's event was also chosen by Ubisoft as the place to reveal the launch date for Watch Dogs Legion. The release of the game is scheduled for October 29, 2020, and it will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Of course, Watch Dogs Legion will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when they are released.
