Claws of Awaji, the first expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes Naoe and Yasuke on a gripping new adventure. They leave Osaka Bay and venture to the enigmatic island of Awaji, a land shrouded in beauty and danger. Their mission to reclaim a stolen treasure soon entangles them in the dark schemes of the Sanzoku Ippa clan and a deadly shinobi determined to test their resolve.

The island of Awaji itself becomes a character in the story.
