    It's a good AC title. It's polished and manages to deliver an immersive experience in feudal Japan as expected. There's some annoying stuff here and there, for example, the revenge flashbacks, but it's still a good game with a good story and characters. It's certainly recommended for fans of the franchise that are already used to some rough spots in their AC titles.

    First of all, the game runs extremely smoothly. The seasonal changes look really beautiful, and Ubisoft has once again done a great job with the open world. It feels alive, colorful, and full of movement. You can freely switch between two characters, playing either as a samurai or a ninja. Thankfully, it doesn’t drag on for 80 hours like Valhalla did. There are still plenty of side activities, but this time the game is genuinely enjoyable to play.

    After finishing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, what struck me the most is clearly his world. Feudal Japan is not just an exotic setting: it is alive, coherent and above all contemplative. We find this sensation that I had lost since Origins: the pleasure of slowing down, observing a village at sunrise, crossing a bamboo forest lulled by the wind. Where Valhalla bet on immensity, sometimes too empty, and Mirage on a more restricted but very dense space, Shadows achieves a beautiful balance between grandeur and detail. The universe is also more immersive thanks to a very marked artistic direction. The seasons, weather and light really transform exploration. The world seems less 'amusement park' than in the latest opus and more credible. We feel that Ubisoft wanted to give back importance to the setting and the atmosphere, and it works

    With Assassin’s Creed Shadows, I had the feeling of finding a balance that the series has been seeking for a long time. The gameplay is clearly based on the duality of the two characters, and it really changes the way we approach the game. We alternate between a more raw approach, almost frontal, and a much more classic infiltration, close to what we knew in Unity or Syndicate. Personally, I loved this return to a real management of discretion, without abandoning the action. The combat system is heavier and more readable than in Valhalla. We feel the impacts better, timing is more important, and we are no longer content with chaining capacities like. Each confrontation requires a minimum of observation, especially against several enemies. It is not revolutionary, but clearly better than before. The universe, on the other hand, is a real slap. Feudal Japan is magnificent

    first they said "History Accurate" and took Yasuke who was Nobunaga's retainer and turned him into a samurai because they read a book from some random guy. Then they did a live stream and they tried to pet the dog but could not because Ubisoft. Then they released a trailer where the horse was moonwalking. Then they 'censored' the character being able to destroy shrine. Then they made Yasuke being able to run through walls like he is hulk. Then there was that 1 Sumo female character when there are not any sumo females. Then they sold merchandise of that destroyed tori gate which represents the Nagashaki atomic bomb + merchandise of Zoro's sword from one piece. Then they made the attack on titan colab which was terrible... go and watch a video on youtube. Also 70 bucks... 110 for the premium

    Como la mayoría de los títulos de Ubisoft, es un mapa enorme lleno de tareas repetitivas y un sinfín de coleccionables que apenas afectan a la jugabilidad. Durante las primeras 10 horas, lo disfruté, pero después, siento que estoy haciendo lo mismo una y otra vez. Simplemente me esfuerzo por completarlo, pero sin disfrutarlo realmente. Esto se ha convertido en un patrón recurrente en los juegos de Assassin's Creed: cada entrega es más grande, pero no mejor.
    Like most Ubisoft titles, it's a huge map filled with repetitive tasks and endless collectibles that barely affect gameplay. For the first 10 hours, I enjoyed it, but after that, I feel like I'm doing the same thing over and over again. I'm simply striving to complete it, but not really enjoying it. This has become a recurring pattern in Assassin's Creed games: each installment is bigger, but not better.
