Developer Starbreeze Studios is giving you an opportunity to try PAYDAY 3 ahead of release. The studio has announced a closed beta that will begin next week. Yeah, if you sign up for a chance to participate in the beta you may get lucky and be selected to join the Payday gang in its next heist in New York City. The PAYDAY 3 beta will run from August 2nd to August 7th, exclusively on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X/S. Applications are randomly approved on a daily basis so don't worry if you don't get picked immediately.

Contents in the beta
If you are selected to participate in the PAYDAY 3 beta you will have access to a slice of the full game that includes the No Rest For The Wicked heist. You will be able to choose between four members of the Payday gang: Dallas, Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf. If you have experience in PAYDAY 2 they will be familiar to you, otherwise, you will need to try them all until you find the one that best fits your playstyle. Keep in mind that they all have different abilities. Infamy will be capped at level 22 so you won't be able to create full builds. Still, the beta will allow you to discover most of the new gameplay mechanics and novelties that PAYDAY 3 will bring to the table in September.
