Final Fantasy VII remake lands on PC this week
Years after its release on PlayStation, Final Fantasy VII continues to be the favorite game of the series' fans. The adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and their friends as they try to thwart the plans of Shinra Electric Company and save their world are the basis of one of the most memorable and epic episodes in the story of video games. Final Fantasy VII is so popular, that the fans have been wasking for a remake for years, and they finally got when they wanted when Square Enix launched it in 2020. But everyone that has played the original game knows that it's huge. The developer didn't want to leave anything out in the remake, so the only viable solution was to split it in several chapters. As a result, the first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which follows the part of the story that takes place in Midgar, was released in April 2020 for PlayStation 4.
Enanced graphics, new gameplay mechanics, and the option to play Final Fantasy VII Remake in classic mode, are just some of the features that made the game a success. But it was still out of reach from those that prefer to play on PC. Thankfuly, Square Enix is putting an end to this situation with the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, a PC version of the game that is coming this week. This new version will support HDR, 4K resolution, 120 fps and more, but you will need a high-end PC to enjoy its full potential.
