Square Enix revealed a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the highly anticipated new story in the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake project. The trailer teased the game's mysterious story elements, thrilling combat, and expansive world that players can anticipate experiencing in early 2024.
As many fans speculated, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will introduce at least two new characters to the roster: Yuffie, who already was a playable character in the DLC Integrade, and now Red XIII will also become a fully playable party member. Take a look at the trailer:
The first game of the FINAL FANTASY VII remake trilogy project, released in 2020, has been praised by both players and critics across the globe, earning more than 20 perfect scores from the media. The game also became the highest-selling digital release on the PlayStation platform in Square Enix's history, exceeding more than five million shipments and digital sales worldwide since its release. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second game in the trilogy, is now in development and will be available worldwide in early 2024 for the PS5. Yoshinori Kitase, the producer, said:

Square Enix is on fire with its announcements.
