Dragon's Dogma 2 highlights its features in a video

Dragon's Dogma 2 has been one of the stars at this year's Tokyo Game Show. The upcoming role-playing adventure created by CAPCOM has caught the eye of many players since its predecessor was very popular back in the day. Its combination of RPG and hack and slash mechanics delivered an intense experience with plenty of customization options to create a unique hero. The Arisen and his Peons will be back in Dragon's Dogma 2, which will pit them against all odds in an immersive adventure set in a fantasy world. CAPCOM has revealed more details about the game and its features during the recent event in Japan.

Many gameplay options

In Dragon's Dogma 2 you will be able to choose from four different vocations for your avatar. The Arisen can be a Fighter, a Mage, a Thief, or an Archer. Each of these classes has unique abilities that will favor a specific gameplay style. While Fighters are sturdy tanks capable of withstanding heavy damage and defending their companions in melee combat, Archers can deal with any individual threat from a distance, no matter if they are high above in the sky. Mages can use powerful area effect attacks to decimate their opponent or booster their alies with magic. Finally, Thieves are agile melee fighters that dual-wield daggers and can deal high damage.

The character developement system goes a bit further in Dragon's Dogma 2. The  introduction of advanced vocations opens up even more possibilities to build your character. Mystic Spearhand and Magick Archer combine arcane powers with weapon attacks to boost up their combat capabilities.

Overall, Dragon's Dogma 2 is an intense story-driven RPG experience set in a perilous world. The game features dynamic action combat mechanics and offers you many choices to take on its story. It's currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
