Epic Games decided to not give away Conan Exiles for free

It's nothing new that Epic Games gives away free games every week. They have been doing that since Epic Games Store was launched and it's a great way of attracting people to their platform. The list of games that have become free so far has quite a good mix of titles that includes games from all genres. You just have to log into the Epic Games Store app with your account (you can create one for free if you don´t have one) and then you can claim whatever free game is available and it will be part of your collection permanently. Also, every time a new game becomes free they announce what games will be available in the future. Therefore, as announced last week we expected to get Conan Exiles and Hue for free on PC. But it turns out that Epic Games has decided not to give it away at the last moment.

The reasons behind this decision have not been explained, but at least we know that those that expected to play Funcom's survival game on Epic Games' platform will be able to do it in the future, purchasing the game of course.

The other game that was to be available this week and that has ended the only one that players will get for free is Hue. It's a unique 2D platform game that challenges players with puzzles full of color. The key to progressing in Hue is changing the color of the scenario background so it matches the color of the obstacles that you will find. That way, those obstacles will disappear and you will be able to advance through the different levels in the game.

Hue will be available for free on Epic Games Store for a whole week. After that, if the creators of Fortnite do not decide to change things at the last minute, you should be able to get Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet: Premiere Edition, and The Escapists 2 next week.
