Survival in Conan Exiles

Developer FUNCOM has released a new trailer for their upcoming open-world survival title Conan Exiles. The video showcases some interesting game mechanics that influence your chances of surviving in the barbaric wasteland of the world of Conan the Barbarian. Your path to the domination of the land will demand from you much more than finding sustenance and shelter.
 
Starting as an outcast isn't easy, so exploring the world for treasure and knowledge, while you hunt for resources to build your own settlement are the basics of survival in the game. But you will need manpower to maintain and defend it from threats that range from deadly sandstorms, bandits and beasts to other players (in multiplayer mode), or even avatars from the Gods themselves. You will be able to enslave NPCs and make those thralls help you in many different ways that range from protecting your settlement while you are asleep, to dancing for you as a way to remove the corruption generated during exploration.

Conan Exiles - SURVIVE in the World of Conan

Conan Exiles is still in development, but it will be available through Steam Early Access on January 31th next year for PC, and it will also arrive in spring 2017 to Xbox One through the Game Preview program.
