Cyberpunk 2077: CD Projekt Red organizes a modding contest

Time moves forward very slow for all those who are waiting to be able to play the next CD Projekt Red game, Cyberpunk 2077. It's even worse now that the initial release date is fairly close since, if it had not been postponed until September 17 we could be playing in just 8 days.

This does not prevent CD Projekt Red from continuing to promote the game but the opposite. After having unveiled a good number of images and videos of all kinds, and after organizing a contest to win ultra collector graphics cards in February, a new promotional operation has started. As a reminder, the February competition made it possible to win a variant of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card in the colors of Cyberpunk 2077. Some of the winners will probably be doubting about reselling their prizes for a hefty sum of money, since the graphic cards are unavailable for sale and there are only 200 copies, which were produced exclusively for this competition.

CD Projekt Red is launching today a new competition of another kind that will test your creativity: a modding competition. In this case we are talking about the personalization of PC cases. Starting today and until May 17, you can participate by creating a case on the theme of Cyberpunk 2077.

 

The competition will take place in two phases, in the first one you will have to create and send your creation. You will have to base your creation on the Alienware Aurora R9 case model, and for this first step, you must simply send your concept, whether it is a montage on Photoshop, Paint or even drawn by hand, but it will have to follow certain criteria. Five finalists will have their concepts selected for the second stage in which you will have to craft the box itself with the help of a team of modders. Finally, although all the finalists will get a reward, the winner will be chosen by a jury and will win a substantial prize: an Alienware Aurora PC which will contain the famous collector graphics card.
