Experience a totally new world of mythology with Santa Monica Studios’ upcoming God of War. Now set in the world of Norse mythology, follow the long time hero of the franchise, Kratos, as he attempts to control his rage and passes his knowledge onto his young son. In this new God of War title, Kratos is given a fresh start. Living as a normal human in the far flung reaches of unfamiliar lands, Kratos is even without his signature weapon, the double-chained blades of previous God of War games. Now, with just an axe capable of absorbing the magic of the elements, Kratos must fight to protect the solitude he created for himself. God of War brings new lands and all new creatures to the series, which makes its first departure from Greek mythology. But Kratos still finds himself in constant conflict with everything around him, and he must fight to survive. Not only that, but now, in God of War, he must teach his son how to survive the harsh world in which they live. With an unleashed, unfixed camera, players are free to explore the world of God of War however they please. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up, with action-oriented combat and RPG elements. The world will also be full of resources that allow players to craft their own equipment. The next stage in the critically acclaimed franchise, God of War presents players with a new and unique world, but the familiar focus on complex, action packed and strategic combat that players have come to expect and enjoy. Also, unlike God of War : Ascension, there is no multiplayer mode in God of War 4.

This game looks ten times better on PC than it ever did on the PlayStation 4. I recommend this game to anyone that has been a fan of the God of War franchise or even anyone that has a liking of incredible cinematic games.

I've completed the game 100% on my Playstation, I've been playing this franchise since the ps2 era and even though it lost some of it's magic, this game is still extremely good. I still think God of War 3 was just a beast game and hard to follow up, but they made a great game, changed it enough to draw in new players but still retain the old ones. The visuals, the soundtrack, the lore is everything you would expect (in short EPIC). It's definitely worth no matter if you are a new fan or not

I'm looking forward for the God of War PC port but also can't wait for them to announce the release date of Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collections those 2 games are part of my most antecipated PS ports to come to PC, hopefully my computer (and pocket x) ) can handle everything.

After watching it for 1 week on twitch, I think it is one of the best games, graphics looks wonderful, very good gameplay, it misses certain things, but still is a wonderful game.

So, I've never played a God of War but from what I've seen, the story and the universe looks very interesting. Kratos is not to be introduced anymore.

And to think I was thinking about getting a play just for this game, it's really cool to see that some exclusives are (finally) ported to PC. Can't wait to play it!

God of War (2018) is really a game largely above the expectations of users I have not played but I saw some gameplay, I wait for January 14 for its release on PC and I look forward to see stunning graphics

I never played the first 3 GoW games, but I watched them played just to get perspective on the story and character. If you really wanted just more of the same thing those games had, you might be. The change in gameplay is definitely drastic, but - if you give it some time - it is very distinctly still God of War. Santa Monica's ability to craft enormous creatures, worlds, and gave Kratos destroy them in beautifully graphic ways... it's still here.

A great game with a nice new take on the series, beautiful visuals and a strong story being told. Voice acting was superb and the soundtrack and audio design was near perfect. I do still think the game was not as great as I expected,...I expected too much tbh. Anyway, a game worth paying full price for.

This game is absolutely superb in almost every aspect. Whether it is in the lore, graphically or in the combat mechanics, I really had a great time on this game and I can't wait to play it again on PC (with unusual mods).
