The good reviews are well deserved. They've been on a roll since the the release of RE7 and each new game is better than the last (alright, RE3 wasn't that great, but the rest is true). Capcom has found a great balance between horror and action. I more than recommend it to everyone that enjoyed RE2, RE3 and especially RE4.

This game is one of the best Resident Evil games ever made according to many of the fans... I am one of those who loves this game also. The Graphics are the best ever made on any RE game... The gameplay is also very good and ofcourse the HORROR is awsome like always. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. Buy it and enjoy one of the best horror action games out there today.

Le jeu est un mélange parfait d'un mode old school et d'un jeu moderne. Cependant, le fait d'avoir une grosse menace à éviter rend ces menaces moins impressionnantes avec le temps. Je jeu est quand même bien réalisé dans l'ambiance, même si le combat un peu caricatural gâche la sensation d'impuissance. A contrario, le manque de ressources au début peut faire peur mais arrivé à un certains point, le fait de pouvoir fabriquer ses munitions rend le tout moins punitif. Je comprends les critiques positives mais perso en essayant de prendre du recul, je trouve le jeu OK mais pas non plus incroyable.

Directly, I consider this Resident Evil Requiem a GOTY candidate, obviously. In one week they have sold a lot of copies, the critics are spectacular. Criticizing the game, it is almost perfect and, moreover, it is a game that remembers the fans of the saga who have been able to enjoy these games.

This game has been very well received, and I'm not at all worried about why. Capcom consistently succeeds in creating an intriguing story, with an oppressive atmosphere and credible art direction. The only reproach that can be levelled at them is the game's short duration.
