Hello Games has made an incredible work with No Man's Sky so far and it seems that it intends to keep improving their game and surprising us. Each of the big updates that they have released for their space exploration open-world game has added very interesting features to the game. It is a machine that you can build in the game and which allows you to create your own music and sounds for the game.
It doesn't matter if you are no musician or an expert creator, the ByteBeat Device is quite accessible to everyone, no matter what your previous knowledge is. Of course, the more you know the more things you can do with it, and the best part is that you can share your creations with other players too!
Once placed in your base and powered, the ByteBeat will immediately begin to produce sound. ByteBeat formulas are made out of simple waveforms that are manipulated through maths – but by default, the device handles all of the mathematical heavy lifting, procedurally generating random presets for you to play with. Dedicated audiophiles have the option to explore deeper, manually sketching out note sequences, rhythms, and even manipulating the raw sounds.
