Hades II will not leave Early Access anytime soon

Developer Supergiant Games is delighted about the incredible success that the sequel to Hades is having already. The game was recently released on PC in Early Access and it topped the charts on day one. Hades II follows the steps of its predecessor but features new and exciting gameplay mechanics, including the possibility of charging all attacks for additional effects and more damage. The developer studio has just released the first patch for the current version of the game, which improves your character's mobility skills and the gathering mechanics among other improvements. 

Not before 2025

Hades II is surprisingly good for a game whose final version is not available yet. However, the game is bound to stay in Early Access for a long while. In a recent interview with PCGamer, Supergiant Games creative director Greg Kasavin revealed that the studio intends to work hard to improve the game with minor patches that will come soon. These will be followed by a major update that will add extra content in the form of new stages, enemies, and more, which should arrive later this year. After that, these changes will be tested and the game should be ready to be released. However, this process will probably consume what's left of 2024, or even longer.

With that, those eagerly waiting for the final version of Hades II will have to wait at least until 2025.
