Hades II is available right now in Early Access

Since Hades II was announced at The Game Awards 2022, many gamers, especially those who have been attached to the legendary predecessor Hades, have been eagerly anticipating each day. This anticipation reached its peak when Supergiant Games announced a technical test for Hades II just a week ago, bringing hope to fans that the release date was approaching.

And surprisingly, on May 6, 2024, just a few weeks after the technical test, Supergiant Games announced on their Twitter page that the highly anticipated sequel, Hades II, had officially launched in Early Access:
 

Hades II is a rogue-like dungeon crawler in which you'll battle beyond the Underworld of Greek myth using dark sorcery to take on the sinister Titan of Time. Playing as the immortal Princess of the Underworld, you'll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the forces of the Titan of Time with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment.

The decision by Supergiant Games to release Hades II in Early Access allows players to buy and experience a version of the game that is still in development. Additionally, players have the option to provide feedback and gameplay data, which is highly valuable to Supergiant Games as they strive to realize the game's full potential.

Similar to the original game, Supergiant Games plans to follow the Early Access launch of Hades II with several Major Updates, which will include additional core content and refinements based on player feedback. The story will progressively expand with each update, introducing new characters and events involving existing ones. This process will culminate in their v1.0 launch, which will feature the conclusion to the story and other finishing touches.

Currently, the Early Access version of Hades II already has at least as much content as the original Hades did when it launched in Early Access on Steam. As players delve into Hades II, they can expect to encounter new locations, challenges, upgrade systems, and surprises, immersing themselves in the ever-shifting Underworld again and again.
