The dual reality system in the Medium has been explained
We discovered it last spring and it will make us shiver from December 10. We are talking about The Medium. Scheduled for release on Microsoft's next-gen console and PC, The Medium looks impressive with its stunning graphics. The very first trailer of the game that was published was spectacular, and many players have been waiting to be able to immerse themselves in this horrific adventure.
We had been able to learn a little more about The Medium last summer when the page of the game appeared on the Microsoft Store unveiling a key feature of The Medium. In the game, we will be able to see two realities simultaneously on the screen. This is a new feature developed by Bloober Team that explains why the game will not be released on Xbox One.
Bloober Team has recently published a new video that introduces this feature and how it will be applied in-game.
Michal Napora tells us a little more about this mechanism, which is so unique that it has been patented. It's been confirmed that even though we will only see one of the two realities most of the time, at certain times in the game we will need to see both displayed at the same time on the screen in order to solve a variety of environmental puzzles. Also, it seems that one of the two realities may take up more space than the other depending on the situation.
The Medium, in addition to offering a fascinating story and great immersion, also seems to have innovative gameplay. All of this is tantalizing, to say the least, and we can't wait to discover more. While you wait for the release of The Medium, you can find the best prices to purchase it on our comparator.
