The Medium is a story that takes place in the 90s in Polish Cracow. The main character of the game is a woman named Marianne. She possesses supernatural abilities and is able to communicate with ghosts. She also has haunting visions that show her a mysterious child who gets murdered and she wants to solve this mystery at all costs. The visions lead her to the abandoned, post-communist hotel Niwa, in which the crime took place. The Medium is a single-player, psychological horror adventure in the third person's view. The player will have to explore the area, solve puzzles, and face dangerous situations. In the game, will be able to transfer yourself between the spiritual and real worlds, and solving puzzles often requires interaction between both. You can also abandon your human body temporarily and reach inaccessible places while you are in spiritual form, and also protect yourself with a barrier that hinders the movements of other spirits. But there is a terrible creature called The Maw which will be chasing you while you are in the hotel. 

The Medium features detailed graphics in 3D inspired by the artworks of Polish painter Zdzisław Beksiński. These environments along with a gloomy soundtrack, contribute to creating a dark and oppressive atmosphere that serves as the perfect scenario for this horror adventure.
