Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be revealed in June

Despite its rough beginnings Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to become one of the most successful games released recently. Although it's true that the game wasn't in a very good state at launch on certain platforms, developer CD Projekt Red worked hard until the performance was good enough and the game delivers a very good experience with impressive graphics, especially on PC. 

The first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 was announced a while ago but very little has been revealed about it. We know that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will feature a new storyline involving V alongside a new character. The expansion will introduce Idris Elba as Solomon Reed, a special agent working for a government agency. The new story is set in an unexplored area of Night City. Although some details in Cyberpunk 2077 point out that it could be the Pacifica Combat Zone, an area that is isolated from the rest of the district for unknown reasons. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is said to be a "spy thriller" that will involve brand new characters and returning ones, like Johnny Silverhand. 

An eagerly expected expansion

CD Projekt Red has teased the expansion already but all the fans of Cyberpunk 2077 are entitled to a more detailed reveal that will take place next month according to an official announcement via Twitter.

The announcement implies that the fans will be able to try the expansion ahead of release, which is great, but we don't know what shape this opportunity will take.
