Phantom Liberty is Cyberpunk 2077's expansion

CD Projekt Red has finally left behind all the drama from the terrible launch of Cyberpunk 2077. The sci-fi role-playing game was supposed to become the maximum exponent of what the creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could deliver. Unfortunately, it had several issues at launch, especially on old-generation consoles, and the developer had to work really hard to take the release version to the quality level that the community was expecting. The result has been a wasted opportunity and a lesson learned the hard way since Cyberpunk 2077 could have been a much bigger success. 

Looking beyond these problems, the game is now in a very good state, and it offers quite an exciting and unique experience. Keanu Reeves introduces the expansion and reveals that Johnny Silverhand will return in the next chapter of V's story, which will feature new characters and a different type of plot. Phantom Liberty is slated for release sometime in 2023.

The video also delves into the content of the upcoming Edgerunners Update, (Patch 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077), which is already available. It links the game with the upcoming Netflix anime series with cosmetic items and a transmog system that allows you to customize V's wardrobe looks while maintaining its stats. In the future, the game will also receive a major update that will overhaul vehicle combat and the cop system. 

With all those additions and an expansion in the works, we can safely say that Cyberpunk 2077 finally is the game it was meant to be. That is, of course, if we leave aside multiplayer, with was a recurrent subject in every conversation about Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of release.
