Steam publishes the list of best games of 2021

There are some events that are becoming a tradition. Valve's game distribution platform is famous for its seasonal sales throughout the year, but it also publishes a list that reveals the top sellers and most played games. The Top Sellers category shows that a huge number of players enjoy certain games without caring about how old they are. When it comes to the games most played on Steam in 2021, we surprisingly find that Cyberpunk 2077 has found a spot on the top of the category. It seems that CD Project Red's efforts to fix the awful state of the game at launch are paying off, and many players have decided that the RPG is worth their time. The other surprise in this category is Halo Infinite. The free-to-play multiplayer mode from 343 Industries' shooter has been available for quite a short time only, but it has attracted a massive number of players, which results in it being one of the games with the highest number of concurrent players this year.
