V Rising sells one million copies

As we told you last week, V Rising is having quite a successful launch with a huge number of copies sold in just a few days. The tendency has continued, and the numbers keep growing as more players have decided to give the indie survival game an opportunity in Early Access. V Rising has sold more than a million copies already, surprising its developers as much as the players that are enjoying it already. Stunlock Studios has thanked the players for their support in a post on the official blog of the game, where the team also talks about the plans for the game ahead of its full release.

"The release of V Rising has been met with overwhelming support, and we really can't thank you all enough for joining us on this journey… and it will be a journey. Opening into Early Access is the first step we're taking on the misty road to the game's full release."

"Our mission will be to find out what is most important to our players and how to take V Rising to the next level. We currently plan to work on more extensive updates rather than run for frequent smaller patches and minor changes. It's too early to tell when the first bigger V Rising content patch will arrive, as we will give it the time to make sure it brings something new to the experience. Stunlock Studios is quite happy with the current state of V Rising in terms of gameplay and deems the game solid enough to focus on bringing in additional content along with whatever minor fixes are needed.
