Hwoarang is the latest Tekken 8 character

Even though all fans are dying to know the release date for Tekken 8, Bandai Namco Entertainment continues adding characters to the long list of fighters that will be available in the game. Jin Kazama's rival will be back in the new installment of the iconic fighting video game series. They both were Taekwondo students of Bael Doo San and have now mastered this fighting discipline with their respective styles. Hwoarang has been present in every game from the series since his first appearance in Tekken 3 and now returns for more action. A Taekwondo master

Hwoarang is not the fastest character in the game but he overly compensates it with the extremely long reach and impressive power of his kicks. He is able to kick an opponent from almost any angle and get through their defenses while staying clear of any grappling attempts. Defense is not his strong point, and his fighting style favors those who put constant pressure on their opponents by delivering a constant flow of attacks. His gameplay style is difficult to master but quite rewarding once you manage to land some kicks, as he can rapidly overwhelm his enemies. Hwoarang has several new martial arts movements in Tekken 8 and it will be a solid contender in the tournament. Of course, his goal is to defeat Jin Kazama at any cost.

Tekken 8 continues getting bigger and we may see even more fighters revealed in the coming month. A second EVO tournament will take place in August and Bandai Namco may use the event as an opportunity to reveal more things about the game if it does not go for a surprise release earlier, which is quite unlikely.
