Bandai Namco has announced that a free demo of Tekken 8 will launch this week on PlayStation 5 consoles. The demo will become available to all players on Sony's next-gen console tomorrow. Other players will have to wait until a few days to discover the novelties that Tekken 8 includes as the release of the demo on PC and Xbox Series X/S will take place one week later.

The Tekken 8 demo will be playable offline and it will include several single-player modes. You will be able to play the first chapter in the Story mode "The Dark Awakens", the first chapter in Arcane Quest mode, Super Ghost Battle, and also have partial access to Versus and Gallery. Only a few of the 32 fighters available at launch will be in the demo, namely, Jin, Kazuya, Nina, and Paul. You will be able to fight with them to your heart's content in the Sanctum, Yakushima, and Urban Square battle stages.
The progress made in the Tekken 8 demo won't be saved so you just need to focus on enjoying the game while playing.
