Everything seems to be in place for the release of Tekken 8. Bandai Namco has taken its time to explain all the novelties and features that the next installment in the fighting series will bring. It has also revealed many of the fighters that will be present in the game at launch including Yoshimitsu, who will be back for Tekken 8.
A thrilling story
Tekken 8 will feature a total of 32 fighters at launch. You will be able to fight with them across several gameplay modes, but one of the most exciting ones will be the Story Mode, which will bring another episode in the conflict between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. With more cinematics than ever, this mode may bring the conclusion to the long-lived rivalry between them. Bandai Namco has shed some light on the story with a brand new trailer that lets us peek into the events that will take place in Tekken 8.
Story Mode will seamlessly wave epic fights with impressive battles to deliver a unique experience to the players, but it's just the tip of the iceberg. Tekken 8 will feature other novelties, like Arcade Quest, a new gameplay mode that will act as a tutorial of sorts set in a stylized version of the world of the game. Of course, Tekken 8 won't leave behind multiplayer battles, which have always been a favourite of the fans.
The release of Tekken 8 is scheduled for January 26, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. However, you can give a try to the game for free by playing its demo.
