How much are you willing to pay for Elden Ring Nightreign Beta invites

The upcoming FromSoftware game, Elden Ring Nightreign, has generated significant buzz, resulting in some unsavory market practices emerging. Currently, invites for the game's playtest are being resold at exorbitant prices, exploiting fans’ eagerness.

Elden Ring Nightreign is set to be a roguelike spin-off of the critically acclaimed Elden Ring. In this game, players will be thrust into a challenging environment, tasked with surviving for three days as they gather resources and prepare for a formidable boss fight at the end. The structure promotes both single-player and multiplayer experiences, allowing groups of up to three players to tackle the challenges together. While fans hold out hope for a release date soon, a network test is scheduled to start on February 14, creating a flurry of excitement and interest.

Buying Elden Ring Nightreign access codes may not be a safe option

As with many sought-after software programs pre-access opportunities, the limited availability of beta invitations has led to a black market of sorts. On platforms like eBay, invitations to the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest are appearing with price tags ranging from $30 to an astonishing $300. This stark price variation depends on demand and the seller's perceived value of the access code. Such reselling activities prey on the gamers' enthusiasm and often desperation to join the early playtest, encouraging many to consider purchasing these codes as their ticket to the game.

While the temptation to purchase a playtest invitation can be overwhelming, it is crucial for potential buyers to understand the inherent risks involved. The rules governing the playtest explicitly state that the transferring, buying, or selling of access codes is prohibited. Players who use a code obtained through resale may find their access revoked if discovered.

Following the success of Elden Ring and its DLC, it will be interesting to see how this spin-off twist fares compared to its predecessor. Fans will start getting their first taste of what Elden Ring Nightreign has to offer starting with this network test, but with a general release window of 2025, gamers shouldn't have to wait too long to get their hands on the title.
