For some time now, rumors have been circulating that Sony will hold a State of Play in February, possibly this week. Recently, a few leaks seem to be adding fuel to the fire. First, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater’s release date was leaked, and not long after, Konami dropped an official trailer confirming it. Now, it’s Hell Is Us’ turn to have its launch date revealed early, apparently due to a store overlook.

Hell Is Us had its pre-orders activated on the Microsoft Store briefly, revealing a Deluxe Edition priced at $80. The PlayStation Store has yet to offer a purchase option. The PlayStation Game Size profile, which tracks updates on the PS Store servers, indicated that the release will happen on September 4, 2025. The Deluxe Edition will be available four days earlier, on September 1, granting early access and exclusive cosmetic items for Remi and his drone, KAPI. This has led players to speculate that both Metal Gear Solid Δ and Hell Is Us might be among the announcements of the rumored State of Play this week.

Hell Is Us was announced nearly three years ago but gained more attention after appearing in the State of Play last September. With a free exploration approach, the game won’t have a map, compass, or mission markers, challenging players to find their own way.
