Hell Is Us Gets a Steam Demo This June

In a post on the official Steam forum, Nacon and Rogue Factory announced that their third-person action-adventure game, Hell Is Us, will feature a playable demo on Steam from June 2 to June 16, 2025. They know that console players would also like to try the game, but explain that due to technical constraints, this isn't currently possible. They honestly say that it's way easier to release a demo on PC. However, Nacon reinforces that Hell Is Us will be released simultaneously on PC and consoles, with the same content and level of polish.

As for the demo, it kicks off from the very beginning of the game. Players will step into the shoes of Rémi, the protagonist, armed with little information as they wander through the world of Hadea. This demo aims to explain the gameplay and mechanics of Hell Is Us in a straightforward scenario. Still, it won't showcase all the game's mechanics and secrets, which are being saved for the full release. It's also an opportunity for players to figure out whether Hell Is Us is an action-adventure game of its own or perhaps something closer to a Soulslike, like Lies Of P.

Hell Is Us Demo Available In June

Nacon says Hell Is Us wasn't designed to be an easy game but an accessible one. That's why both the demo and the full game will feature three difficulty levels, with several modifiers to tailor your own difficulty. The developer suggests that players try all difficulties to find the one that fits them best. Moreover, while the demo will only have English language support and voice acting, the full game will also include French voice acting, as well as support for the following languages in text and subtitles: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Turkish.

Hell Is Us is scheduled to be released on September 4, 2025, for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
