Grand Theft Auto 6 launch trailer is out!

Rockstar has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, a month out from release. Captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5, the 90-second video takes us back to Vice City and the state of Leonida for one last look at Jason and Lucia before the game arrives on November 19.

The final trailer before launch is here

The trailer digs a little deeper into Jason's background, revealing he ran into trouble during his military service and left the armed forces under difficult circumstances. This is a situation that makes his return to civilian life more complicated, and it also shapes his criminal partnership with Lucia, which is the core of the story.

Music, platforms and editions

Of course, GTA VI launch trailer reveals more interesting details. The score, for example, comes from French electronic duo Justice, and the trailer debuts their new single "Flower in a Hurricane" featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The track lands on GTA VI: The Album, the official soundtrack now up for pre-save.

According to the official sources, GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S exclusively. There will be no PC version at launch. However, rumour has it that a PC version will arrive in early 2027. This fact is unconfirmed by Rockstar, but given that the expectation for the game is totally unprecedented in the world of video games, it wouldn't be surprising if it happens.

As the release date gets closer, the main question about GTA VI isn't if you should purchase the game but which edition you'll add to your library. There are two editions to choose from — the Standard and Ultimate editions at $79.99 / 79,99 € / £69.99 and $99.99 / 99,99 € / £79.99 respectively — and pre-loading begins on November 12.

When you have decided which one you prefer, remember to find the best price to pre-order GTA 6 on DLCompare and lock in your copy before launch.
