Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is crushing the charts on Steam

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is finally playable and it's proving to be all that players expected and a bit more. Not only all the reviews that praised the expansion and gave it amazing scores were right, but it's also bigger than we expected, and the reaction from the community to the release is very positive. Barely a few hours after the expansion was released, the number of concurrent players that were exploring the Lands of Shadow soared up to almost 600,000. The game is currently sitting stable above 550,000 players and Shadow of the Erdtree is the second most sold title on Valve's platform. A few thousand overwhelmingly positive reviews confirm that FromSoftware has nailed it with an expansion that some already consider better than the main game, which is something quite outstanding considering that Elden Ring is one of the biggest games of all time.

It's just the beginning

The most impressive thing about those numbers is that they will probably grow by leaps and bounds today. It's Friday and there will be many more players with free time that will use it to discover all that the expansion has to offer, including new weapons, bosses, and uncharted lands.

If you have yet to discover the expansion, you really should consider using our comparator to buy the cheapest Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree game code for your platform of choice. The expansion is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Whether you are a seasoned Elden Ring player or do not have any previous experience in this epic adventure, you must remember that the only way of accessing the content in the expansion is by defeating two challenging bosses, Radahn and Mohg. Also, you have to keep in mind that the recommended level to face the monstrosities and perils that you will encounter in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is 150. Daring to step into the expansion without meeting that requirement will definitely prove that you are brave, but it will also mean that you will most likely be mercilessly slaughtered.

And if you don’t own the base game yet, grab a Elden Ring Steam key to play the expansion.
