Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree gets an amazing score on Metacritic

We have already talked a lot about the upcoming expansion for Elden Ring, which will soon be available to play. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is among the most highly-anticipated releases of 2024 despite being just an expansion. Elden Ring's success has granted the expansion a lot of attention from specialized press and players, and with the first reviews of the expansion getting published, everything agrees that it's going to be one of the biggest releases of 2024. Elden Ring is not everyone's cup of tea, mainly due to its high difficulty which sometimes can lead to severe frustration. However, it's hard to surpass the game as it's one of the best action adventures ever made.

Following the steps of Dark Souls in terms of combat, the game pits you against gigantic enemies that can erase you from existence with just an attack. The game encourages you to be on your toes at all times while you try to memorize attack patterns and perform a beautiful dance of dodges, blocks, and attacks, which surely ends with your death if you fail to accomplish it to perfection. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will soon expand the game with a new region, more bosses, and a plethora of new weapons, offering you new opportunities to put your skill and your persistence to the test.
