The favourite fishing and restaurant management game of 2023 is coming to consoles soon. Dave The Diver is one of the big surprises released that year. The game created by Mintrocket caught the eye of many players with its amusing gameplay experience and pixel art graphics. After achieving great success, the game was even expanded with additional content, including a crossover with the other big fishing video game released last year. We are talking about Dredge, of course, which, despite offering significantly different gameplay than Dave the Diver delivers quite an exciting experience for those willing to sail a mysterious sea on a small fishing boat.
On consoles next Spring
Now, Dave The Diver prepares to make the jump to the consoles with the announcement of a release on PlayStation. The game will be available to play on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in April. You can watch the announcement trailer right below.
The trailer also reveals the future release of additional content for Dave The Diver. Namely, a crossover with Godzilla that should become available next May across all platforms. You really never know what you will find in the deep waters of the Blue Hole, but if it's good enough to be used as an ingredient for your sushi restaurant it will be more than welcome.
Developer Mintrocket has decided to expand the game with new gameplay features. The second crossover proves that the studio is open to original ideas and the fans of Dave The Diver should be glad for that. We will have to wait a bit longer to know what kind of additions the Godzilla expansion will bring to the game, but they will surely be interesting.
