Capcom did a great job in the optimization of this game, you can really tell they put more effort than the remaster of the first game.

The game is as good as it was back in the day, but we'd have liked a remake - the game is over 20 years old, and Capcom means Denuvo...

The first few hours spent with this title have given us sensations very similar to those experienced with Warlords. The prospect is, in short, that of finding ourselves with a "proper" remaster in our hands, with a few small additions aimed at easing the weight of the years weighing on the production. A full-blown nostalgia operation, in short, that must be framed taking into account both its physiological limits, as well as the merits of a sequel that is in some ways transformative.

Never got a chance to play an Onimusha game and now that they're kinda reviving the franchise I think I might get to try it. Unsure if I should play this remaster or wait for the new one coming soon-ish.
