The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy open-world action RPG set in a brutal, alternate vision of 14th-century Europe, where plague, war, and superstition have pushed humanity to the brink and given rise to something far more dangerous.

You play as Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker: a cursed being who exists between two worlds, human by day and vampire by night. Struggling to preserve his humanity while wielding terrifying supernatural powers, Coen is driven by one urgent goa, saving his family before time runs out.

Set in the haunting valley of Vale Sangora, the game blends medieval realism with gothic horror. Vampires and other creatures of the night have stepped out of myth and into power, reshaping society in their own image.

Gameplay emphasizes player freedom and consequence. I haven't played The Blood of Dawnwalker, so I don't have an opinion on the game yet. However, I just watched the various trailers and the world looks pretty cool. The atmosphere, the vampires, and the dark side seem well done, especially if you like this kind of setting.

The Blood of Dawnwalker truly blew me away with its incredible world and lore. The story constantly motivates you to explore further and uncover all the secrets of this universe. The day/night cycle also adds real value to the gameplay. I was worried the 30-day limit would be too restrictive, but in the end, it adds a good dose of pressure without ruining the fun. And the particularly endearing protagonist makes the adventure even more immersive.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is exactly the kind of game I want to defend despite its major flaws. After more than 50 hours, what stands out most is its truly well-crafted world, engaging characters, and a few quests that clearly showcase the studio's enormous potential. But behind this excellent foundation, not everything is quite up to par. The gameplay offers some interesting ideas, particularly its power progression, but the combat eventually becomes too long and sometimes tedious due to the camera, movement, and imprecise lock-on system. Certain waves of enemies completely disrupt the flow of the quests. Exploration is enjoyable, especially at night where teleportation provides incredible freedom, but the map is clearly lacking in interest in certain areas. Fortunately, the best quests are truly excellent. And that's precisely where the game frustrates me: its endings sorely lack impact.

The Blood of Dawnwalker realmente me deu um bom placar. O ambiente escuro e sombrio é excelente, e as batalhas exigem um tempo real de adaptação, mas uma vez que a build está bem rodada, é francamente prazeroso. A história é madura, as escolhas têm consequências reais e o sistema dos 30 dias traz uma boa pressão. Alguns pequenos bugs, mas nada de ruim. Pena que não está no New Game+, mas espero que venha mais tarde
