The legendary action role-playing game from Deck13 and CI Games finally has a sequel. The Lords of the Fallen is set a thousand years after the events in the original game. The demon god Adyr is close to returning from death, and the world is threatened once again. As one of the Dark Crusaders, you need to explore the realms of the living and the death in a quest to stop the evil deity from claiming his vengeance.

The Lords of the Fallen is a new take on the iconic franchise that pits you against countless foes in challenging battles. With more than 100 weapons and a variety of spells to choose from, you have a wide arsenal to fight against the nightmarish enemies that populate the realm of death. Choose your favorite ones and master them in combat if you want to progress. Choose one of the nine classes available in the game and create your own playstyle. Enhance your combat capabilities as you advance through the story in order to face increasingly challenging foes. The Lords of the Fallen features a souls-like combat system and you will be facing quite difficult opponents in tactical battles. Devising a proper strategy and executing it flawlessly will be the key to your survival.

In The Lords of the Fallen, your mysterious lantern allows you to cross between worlds, and when you die in the world of the living you will appear in the world of the dead. If you need some help, you can invite another player to join you in this epic adventure, but be warned: your realm is connected to many others and you can be invaded by not-so-friendly players.

Lords of the Fallen is a game that tries to offer a soulslike experience with some original ideas, such as the dual world, the magic lamp and the art design. However, it also has its flaws, such as an irregular technical section, unpolished combat and bosses that are too easy. Overall, it is an entertaining and recommendable game for fans of the genre, but it does not reach the level of quality of other references such as Dark Souls or NiOh. My grade would be a 7 out of 10.

Honestly.. this looks like a good entry level into the souls like genre for new players, from what I've seen so far, you can cheese your way the entire time. I'm on the fence with this one.

In my opinion, Lords of the Fallen is a challenging and exciting game. I like the dark atmosphere and the setting of the game, as well as the challenging boss fights. The graphics and character design are also impressive. However, some people may find the game too difficult, as it requires tactical skills and patience to overcome the challenges. Also, the story may not be as deep as in other RPGs.

good souls game to play if u have run out of souls game nothing new compared to other souls games also a couple of bugs, for example getting stuck in the swamp where u spawn at the start of the game and having to make a new char to get unstuck but ANYWAY, as long as u get it running its a solid 8, feels good

The game itself, in terms of universe and concepts, looks very interesting, but it has been "review bombed" while being very poorly optimized in terms of performance and balancing. The difficulty curve is very poorly managed and the camera is completely out of whack.... To be seen if the game is updated....

A game that's frankly not opti, whose multiplayer is as dubious as those of Souls (like it or not, I'll let you guess which category I fall into). Cooperative play, with no way of progressing if you're not the host, really sucks. Or you'd better avoid using it as your communication spearhead.

The map design and campfire points are unreasonable, there's a serious build-up of monsters, poor optimization and numerous bugs. Hopefully, the creators will be able to correct these in future updates.

This game is a must have. Graphics are awsome, sound and music is awsome and Gameplay is so good it can be. I have the old one but this LOTF one is something like ten times better... 5/5 Stars

That's how game development should be from its core, you make a first Lords of the Fallen game and people enjoy it, but it played very poorly, it wasn't good at all. But they learned from it and decided, let's try it again. But not make the same game, learn from their mistakes and build a new game on a new engine from scratch. Learn from other titles and release a good fun game that fans will love. Good job developers.

I've been waiting for this one, ever since the first version, which was full of flaws but had a few good ideas. Its reboot (Lords of the Fallen) looks a lot more polished and polished, which has to be a good thing, as the negative feedback mainly concerns technical problems that can be solved in the long run!
