Two Point Hospital Free on Epic Games Store This Week
With the Mega Sale wrapping up, the Epic Games Store has reverted to its standard giveaways. This week, instead of the freebies Deathloop, Ogu and Secret Forest, Two Point Hospital is available for all PC gamers to claim.
Developed by Two Point Studios, this hospital management and building game from 2018 presents a comical approach to the genre and is viewed as a spiritual successor to the renowned Theme Hospital from 1997. Players are tasked with creating various rooms to diagnose and cure patients suffering from unusual and quirky ailments ranging from Jazz Hands and Bed Face to Lycanthropy.
Two Point Hospital received multiple nominations, including PC Game of the Year at the 2018 Golden Joystick Awards, Best Strategy Game at the 2018 Game Critics Awards, and Game of the Year at the 2019 Develop: Star Awards. It took home the award for Best Original IP at the Develop: Star Awards.
Players also need to recruit and manage hospital staff by providing special benefits and salary increases to maintain high morale. Simultaneously, they must ensure that the hospital's reputation and profits are well-maintained. There are various regions to explore, with each hospital in a region presenting distinct goals and challenges. This giveaway includes only the base game, but there are numerous DLCs available for players seeking additional hospital areas and quirky diseases.
Two Point Hospital is currently free to acquire on the Epic Games Store. The Sega-published game typically retails for $29.99 when not discounted, but here it can be yours at no cost. The next giveaway on the store is expected to begin on June 19.
