This is sad news for those who were anxiously waiting to meet El Presidente. Through an open letter posted on the Kalypso blog, Simon Hellwig informs us that the release of Tropico 6 on PC is postponed to March 29, 2019. As a reminder, the game was due out on January 25, after having already been delayed once. Thanks to this letter we get to know that Kalypso's big boss believes that Tropico 6 could be even better thanks to this postponement. The team will try to add as many changes as possible according to the feedback received from players who have had access to the beta and hope that this new deadline will be the right one. Even if we don´t like this delay we applaud Kalypso's policy of delivering the best game possible. It is to be especially valued that the studio is generous enough to give compensation for this.
Anyone who pre-ordered Tropico 6 before January 10, 7 pm, will be offered the first DLC of the game for free, the release of which is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019.
