The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-themed Xbox controllers, designed by CD Projekt developers, have been released

Microsoft has just released two brand-new Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controllers that stand out even more than their typical color variations. Collaborating with CD Projekt RED, the studio responsible for The Witcher trilogy and Cyberpunk 2077, Microsoft has unveiled The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition controllers in both standard and Elite versions.

These controllers feature distinctive designs and patterns inspired by The Witcher games, evoking the spirit of the RPG adventure. They showcase Geralt's wolf medallion, Glagolitic script containing a concealed message, a red claw mark resembling The Witcher 3’s logo, different colored triggers representing the silver and steel swords, and various other nods to the franchise.

The Witcher-themed controllers can now be purchased exclusively from the Microsoft Store. However, since they are special edition items, Microsoft notes that quantities are limited. Like standard Xbox controllers, these can be utilized across PCs, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles, as well as iOS and Android devices.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition retails for $79.99. On the other hand, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition is priced at $169.99.

Microsoft has been quite active in releasing special edition Xbox controllers. Earlier this year, they introduced the Doom: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller, which featured striking graphics and a color scheme inspired by the Doom Slayer’s armor, and it quickly sold out at many retailers (although a few places still have it in stock).
