Updates & Patches

By decree of the Adeptus Mechanicus, a new chapter in the eternal war has begun. The sacred Forge Worlds have opened their data-vaults, granting the Emperor's faithful access to the hallowed Steam Workshop for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. No longer must aspiring Techmarines rely solely upon forbidden machine rites or fragmented STC relics to alter the battlefield.

Through sanctioned tools blessed by the Omnissiah, Battle-Brothers may now forge new campaigns, refine their wargear, and reshape the trials awaiting every servant of the Imperium. From enhanced armor patterns and Chapter heraldry to daring gameplay overhauls and custom Operations, the Workshop marks a monumental expansion of humanity's arsenal in its endless crusade against the enemies of Mankind.

The Codex Evolves as Battle-Brothers Forge Their Own Crusades

Yet every blessing carries the weight of responsibility. The Administratum has decreed that those who march beneath modified doctrines shall wage war among fellow innovators, preserving the purity of standard deployments for loyal warriors who remain steadfast to the Codex.

Such measures ensure that honor, balance, and brotherhood endure across the Emperor's domains while allowing the brightest minds of the Mechanicus to experiment without disrupting the wider war effort. With official modding tools freely available, creators now possess the means to construct new trials worthy of the Imperium's finest, strengthening the game's longevity through the collective ingenuity of its devoted community.

A New Eternal War Begins Through Community-Crafted Missions

As the Great Rift continues to divide the galaxy, so too does opportunity emerge from the darkness. Steam Workshop is more than a repository of modifications—it is a forge where legends are tempered and fresh crusades are born. Whether crafting new missions, refining weapon doctrines, or honoring beloved Space Marine Chapters with painstaking authenticity, every contribution becomes another bolt shell fired into the heart of Chaos.

The Emperor protects, but it is the hands of His faithful that continue to build the future of Space Marine 2, ensuring the Long War will rage for countless campaigns yet to come. Arm yourself wisely because our comparison website helps you compare verified retailers and purchase your Space Marine 2 Steam key with confidence.

As @FisheyePlacebo said, this is excellent news for players who want to continue playing once the studio starts working on Space Marine 3. And for those worried about mods getting out of hand, here are three important points to keep in mind for mods to be allowed: 1) Do not include or modify content in a way that is offensive or derogatory to the Warhammer 40,000 universe. 2) It is forbidden to charge or request money for your Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 mods. 3) Mods must not contain AI or AI-assisted materials, or any other content created with generative AI tools.

Nada me ha marcado realmente, ni en un sentido ni en el otro. No es necesariamente un defecto, pero espero más.
Nothing has really made a lasting impression on me, in either direction. It's not necessarily a flaw, but I expect more.

No hay mucho de qué quejarse por el momento. Todo es coherente y da una impresión bastante positiva, incluso sin intentar exagerar.
There's not much to complain about at the moment. Everything is coherent and gives a fairly positive impression, even without trying to exaggerate.
