Sony reveals more of God of War Ragnarök

Yesterday's State of Play had a game that shined more than any other, and that's God of War Ragnarök. Despite being a PlayStation exclusive, the level of popularity of the series is so high and the latest God of War was so awesome that all the eyes were on Kratos' new adventure. When we thought that we have seen him fighting against all possible kinds of threats, Sony reveals a video showing bits of gameplay from the new game to continue amazing us.

Witness the changing dynamic of their relationship as they prepare for war; Atreus hungers for knowledge to help him grasp the prophecy of “Loki”, as Kratos struggles to free himself from the past and be the father his son needs. All the while, the eyes of Asgard watch their every move…

The video reveals more information about the interaction between Kratos and his son Atreus in the upcoming game. The kid's heritage will prove to be troublesome for the pair, and it may separate father and son while they are immersed in an adventure that will pit them against the gods once more. God of War Ragnarök will bring the conclusion of the Nordic Saga, and there's no clue about what the future holds for Kratos and his son after this journey.

Like previous installments in the series, God of War Ragnarök will be available on PlayStation consoles exclusively. The release of the game is scheduled for November 9, 2022. Sony has not confirmed if there are plans for a PC port of the game, but given the success of the previous game, it's quite likely that we see it launching for PC in the future.
