Thirty years later, Sonic the Hedgehog is an iconic character whose games have sold millions of copies becoming one of the bestselling video game franchises in history. The gameplay of Sonic games has evolved through the years but they maintain the same level of frenetic speed and platform action that made them so popular in the beginning. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the character, you can get Sonic Mania for free on PC via Epic Games Store.
Sonic Mania pays homage to the main installments in the series and it was produced to commemorate its 25th anniversary. It's a platformer that offers you twelve different levels where Sonic and his friends Tails and Knuckles will try to defeat the evil Doctor Eggman.
