Returnals launch trailer is here!

Despite proving with Horizon Zero Dawn that it has been quite a good idea to change its policy and bring games that were previously exclusive to PlayStation into platforms like PC, Sony continues to release games that are only playable on its platform. Returnal is one of the most anticipated novelties that fits into that category. It was one of the games announced during the presentation of the PlayStation 5 and since then we have had the opportunity to discover a bit more about the game through several videos. One day ahead of its official release, the Returnal launch video contributes to set the mood for its launch by showing a bit more about the gameplay and story of this upcoming psychological horror third-person shooting adventure.

Returnal puts you in the shoes of Selene, a space pilot stranded on an isolated alien planet. This strange place known as Atropos is quite a hostile environment for you and it's populated by aggressive creatures. You will have to explore the planet looking for a way of escaping from it but it won't be too long before you discover in the worst possible way that the whole planet is under the effect of a very peculiar phenomenon: a time loop that will reset your journey every time you die. Only by trying different paths and approaches to the game you will be able to escape from this nightmarish place. But your adventure in Returnal won't be repetitive at all because it all changes every time the loop resets, including the items at your disposal.

Roguelike mechanics, intense third-person combat, a whole planet full of secrets and strange creatures, and extreme replayability are the highlights of Returnal. All those, accompanied by graphics that take advantage of all the power of the PlayStation 5 will be available tomorrow, but you can already find Returnal at the best price on our comparator.
